Attractions To Explore

Kayaking

A unique opportunity to experience 18 square miles of Georgia’s most serene water trails and uncommon wildlife by paddling Clarks Hill Lake, the Savannah River and the Augusta Canal – all within a few miles of one another.

Mountain biking

Located in the southern portion of the Long Cane Ranger District, the Forks Area Trail System (FATS) was designed with the mountain biking enthusiast in mind. Six stacked loops accessed from various locations, provide up to 34 miles of hiking or biking through a variety of topography and vegetation. Highlights of your visit could include panoramic views, glimpses of wildlife and a distinctive, large grouping of saw palmetto not normally seen in this part of South Carolina.

Clarks Hill Lake

Lake Strom Thurmond, also known as Clarks Hill Lake, is a massive lake with over 71,000 surface acres on the border of South Carolina and Georgia just north of the city of Augusta, Georgia. The Lake Thurmond Dam was finished in 1952 creating Lake Strom Thurmond along the Savanah River. This majestic lake is surrounded by pine trees that sit right along the banks. The lake is popular for recreational activities including camping, fishing, boating, skiing, hiking, and much more.

Very nice place

Logan

This place was beautiful and peaceful. A nice getaway to relax. Amazing lake to go fishing nearby. We only ran into a small problem with the wifi, but other than that it was good!

Gabino

Beautiful location, amazing property. Be prepared to function without much in the way of WiFi but you booked a cabin in the woods, what did you expect?! Kids are already asking to go back!

Dom

Very grateful for Anthony's attention...we had an inconvenience with the sink and he promptly helped and resolved it...Thank you.

Gisel

Would love to stay here again

John

We had an absolute blast at Treesort! Our girls loved the creative net to lounge on and the space was great. Music, fire pit, outdoor games…such a fun time! It was def a little cold the first night but once we got the heat going by the second morning it was great. Off the beaten path but so fun. Anthony even recommended a local bbq and it was amazing! Loved it!

Sam

Nice place to vacation

Bryan

great place. very peaceful and quiet. will definitely come back with my kids

Angel

Awesome place! Very clean, cozy and a unique experience. Just the getaway my boyfriend and I were looking for. Anthony was very responsive and is a great host. Make sure to bring your own ‘cooking basics’ though - salt, pepper, oil, cutting board, as these were not in the units.

Marisa

Great little getaway in a private location. Still close enough to everything!

Nick

Animal House was an amazing little get away for the weekend. So relaxing!

Nicole

Unique place and set up. Anthony was a great host, meatball (the dog) was awesome. We enjoyed our time at treesort.

Kevin

We had a great time at Treesort and would come back again, definitely 😁

Yvonne

For people looking to have a quite getaway while remaining close to all types of activities and dinning, this is a great rental to select!

Mitch

Great place to stay, convenient to Clarks Hill Lake area & Augusta.

Johanna

I love being out in the middle of the countryside. Nothing like it, Anthony's was a warm welcome to that experience

Brandon

A great place to stay close to the lake and close to the dam.

Clinton

We loved the treehouse! Would stay here again, especially when the weather is cooler! The kids enjoyed the net above the living room and all of the outdoor activities

Britni

Amazing hidden gym. Well appointed space. Extremely clean and super comfy. Outdoor space is great for all ages. I was trying to stay on the high road and keep my opinions yo myself. But alas…..For the baffled, petty, a$$hole reviews, you shouldn’t leave the confines of your home, ever. Yes. As MENTIONED IN THE DESCRIPTION, there is an axe throwing range. Dangerous? No. If you lack ability to supervise your kids, stay at home. We absolutely loved this and I had two silly teenagers. AS MENTIONED AND SHOWN IN THE DESCRIPTION, there is a ladder. If you lack the skills to safely use it, wrap yourself head included, and stay home. We LOVED THIS LOFTED SPACE. Even my fat self with two completely torn acls and degenerative connective tissue disease, had no problems whatsoever with using the ladder. The cargo net was perfectly placed and so unique! The last point is the location. Some poor guy whined about there being nothing to do in the area. No explanation necessary. YOU should always stay home! Treesort is located on a country road. Safe for walks, disc golf, putting green, hammock, fire pit, woods for exploring, and amazing sunset views. Within a short drive are trails and lake access. Augusta is a short 29 minute drive and a fun town. We were able to catch a live music show at a local record store. So much fun. Driving around, you are surrounded by lush green forest and beautiful views. Role down your window and breathe in the fresh air. I am a retired travel RN. I have been all over the US. Treesort would make the top of my list for places to stay. We are thankful for the opportunity to experience and explore the area. Thank you!

Jennifer

Pros: -Great proximity to the lake! -disc golf course, axe throwing, other small games were great! -Net in the loft was a cool feature -Host was very gracious and communicative - allowed us to stay a few hours past checkout time due to a mixup on my end. That raised my review from a 2 star to a 3 star. Overall: If you don't bring food into the house & want somewhere with no wifi to unplug, this could be a great spot for you!

Daniel Joseph

Great place to stay. It's close to a lot of hiking and kayaking places. Having the grill was a great option. They did not provide any grilling utensils, so consider bringing your own. The Internet was not available during our stay, which was a huge bummer, but they did say they were working on fixing that.

Patrick

Clean and well kept. Anthony was very responsive.

Destiny

Great for families or groups. My kids had so much fun with all of the activities outside & the net was their favorite part!

Brandi

Great place to stay.

Kristie

Such a cute property! We had such a good time and enjoyed the outdoor games.

Taylor

Beautiful treehouse, great secluded area. Perfect place for a relaxing getaway.

Kristi

My stay at Treesort was very nice. It’s a great quiet little place. I highly recommend.

Rose

If you want a peaceful escape from life, this is the place! Great location for the Masters tournament in Augusta! Our 13y/o son really enjoyed the indoor net/hammock. The house is perfect for a four person group.

Chris

Great house. Very clean and brand new! I was visiting Augusta for the Masters and loved the location off the beaten path. Very relaxing atmosphere with fire pit and hammocks. I would definitely stay here again.
